Tea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1867 by James Taylor, a Scottish planter, in Loolecondera Estate, Kandy. What started as a small plantation soon grew into one of the world’s most famous tea industries — Ceylon Tea 🍃.
Visiting a tea factory lets you see the whole journey from fresh green leaves being plucked, to withering, rolling, fermenting, drying, and finally tasting that perfect cup.
Today, Sri Lanka’s misty hills and lush estates still produce some of the finest tea in the world, loved for its rich flavor and aroma. ❤️
Come, breathe in the fresh mountain air and sip the history in every cup! 🍃🍂 ☕
